If you are experiencing issues with any of the following functions on your Jawbone UP wristband, it may be necessary to perform a soft reset:
- Battery/charging issues
- Syncing issues
- Button issues
- Vibration motor issues
- Status light issues
To perform a soft reset you will need your Jawbone UP wristband, the charging cable, the USB port and the device used with the band.
Start with the charger removed from any power source.
- Plug the band into the charger.
- Press and hold the button on the band as you connect the charger to a well-powered USB port.
- The sun status light will flash multiple colours, like a rainbow.
- Release the button.
- Remove the band from the charger. The sun status light will flash quickly, and then stop.
- Sync the band.
